I want to share my experience of operating a Honda VTX1300 motorcycle. In this case, this is model C, since in my opinion it is the most interesting of the entire line purely externally. For some time there was an S-ka, but it is the "tseshka" that I like more. It is no better and no worse than the others in technical terms, but I repeat, purely from the aesthetic side, it attracts me more, it also turned out to be more convenient for me in terms of landing and control, partly due to the narrower and straighter steering wheel, but oh well, all the differences VTX1300 models are easy to find online. The Honda VTX 1300C appeared in my garage after the Honda VT750 Shadov, and after the 1300th there were different motors, but I always advise and recommend this one with pleasure, as an excellent value for money, in the first place, plus quite good dynamic and speed characteristics in comparison not only with classmates, but also with cruisers in a more serious weight category, for example, such as Kawasaki Vulkan1600, Yamaha Road Star1700, Suzuki Bolevar1500. Someone will say that these motorcycles are not meant to leave black marks on the pavement and drive over 200, maybe not for that, but it’s very nice when the bike can do this, and the VTX 1300 can. As for reliability, I can say that the motorcycle is reliable and unpretentious like a Kalashnikov assault rifle, and does not have any sores characteristic of this model, of course, with timely maintenance. It is easy and simple to operate like a moped, although it weighs a little more than three hundred kilograms. If you have any driving experience
two-wheeled vehicles, and the desire to have a cruiser, then in my opinion these are just the parameters with which the cruiser begins, i.e. the bike is stable on the track due to its mass, the fingers do not turn white and the anus does not shrink when you catch the oncoming air flow from a passing truck, or suddenly there was cut asphalt under the wheels, and there were no problems with overtaking, even with a passenger on the tail. As for the brakes, they are quite enough, despite the fact that the front brake is single disc. There are some drawbacks in the form of a low-lying speedometer or the lack of a fuel level indicator, but nothing is perfect, you get used to it quickly. Yes, there are more powerful, faster and more interesting cruisers, but that’s more money.

I have 1800. Of course, the analogies with 1300 are not entirely correct, but relevant. I’m talking about 1800: 1. Behavior on the road – impeccable. Especially on a straight line. Honda in general is such a motorcycle, no matter how heavy it may seem – just went, the weight has already evaporated. Let it be Golda, or VTX, or even a new Rune. 2. Maintainability – so it does not break. 3. Reliability https://cars45.com.gh/listing/peugeot/607 – so it does not break. On our fucking roads for three years of operation, I only glued a rubber gasket into the headlight. Because she trembled a lot. 4. Safety – I don’t know, the 1300 has a different braking system, while the 1800 has it flawless. With his weight. Total – 3 seasons of operation. On average – 10-15 thousand per season. Only MOT, only tuning, ONLY PLEASURE. VTX forever. But if you have money or you can pout on it – take 1800. Firstly, it is better executed. Secondly, it is clearly more beautiful. And thirdly, I just don’t like "American style" motorcycles, and the 1300 is exactly that style! But this is my opinion. The 1800 has ONLY one very big drawback – a small tank. But if you do not travel long distance, then this is tolerable.
